About Dorset Paws & Snores

Our Story

Hello I’m Jax,

I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with dogs for as long as I can remember, so I know just how important it is to find someone reliable, caring & trustworthy to look after your beloved pet. That’s why I created Dorset Paws & Snores, to provide a safe, welcoming & fun environment for dogs.

Having recently lost our last dog at the grand age of 16, I decided to have a career change & start my dog walking, boarding & home sitting business. 

For the last 6 years I’ve been a volunteer for The Edward Foundation bulldog rescue. We have fostered, fundraised & helped many dogs & in 2019 we adopted our gorgeous Nellie. In 2022 we adopted our handsome, one eyed warrior Stan from Margaret Green. We had 4 amazing years with both of them. 

Caring for your dogs will be an absolute privilege & they will be treated & loved like our own.

​We want your dog to have the best time with us, whether it’s on a walk, coming to stay, or cuddles in its own home. We can’t wait to meet you & them!

I am fully licensed with a 4 star higher standard, (the highest rating possible for a new business), insured, DBS checked, and trained in canine first aid.
